Danny, I’m not sure how interested you are in interaction/ audience participation in your work, but I think toys lend themselves pretty well to this. Either way, you might be interested in the work of Forrest Gard. He makes some really interesting interactive pieces- one in particular you might like involves hundreds of brightly colored toy cars that he slipcast for his audience to then play with on a giant ramp, so they were launched into the air and smashed around the gallery- so fun.
